Camping & Placement
There is no separate parking lot at this event. You should park your vehicle where you camp. Do not park on sprinklers, in taped off areas, and on roads. If you are with a theme camp, check with your theme camp lead(s) for more information on parking.
We do not sell or require parking or vehicle passes at SN-RG.
RVs are welcome at SN-RG. There are no RV hookups or services at the event. RVs make a great sound barrier and we suggest strategically placing RVs to reduce sound bleed. This is especially recommended for theme camps.

Check out the Packing List page for recommended items. Remember, this is not an all-inclusive list.
The speed limit at SN-RG is 5 MPH unless otherwise posted. This is especially important on gate road. Please don’t squish the toads.
In open camping, no loud sounds or music should be played between 12:00AM and 11:00 AM. In quiet camping, no loud sound or music should be played at all. Please work with your neighbors to ensure your sound is at an appropriate level. You may be approached by SN-RG staff or rangers and asked to turn sound down or completely off. Failure to comply may result in ejection from the event.
Mutant vehicles are non-human powered vehicles that have been sufficiently modified to be considered an art piece. E-bikes are not considered mutant vehicles and are allowed at SN-RG. All mutant vehicles should be insured. Operators must follow the 5 MPH rule. Additionally, vehicles should not have any leaks or emissions that would otherwise violate Leave No Trace. You do not need to register your vehicle with SN-RG. Please refrain from traveling directly on the pasture parallel to the roads (aka down “esplanade” where all the theme camps are). Crossing the pasture on the north-east side under the bridge leading to open camping is acceptable if your vehicle is below the bridge height.
Participants who experience or witness non-consensual incidents should contact a ranger or medical staff, should they need them. This is a relatively small event, so if you can’t find those resources in your immediate area, ask the nearest theme camp for help to locate or radio event staff.
In a non-emergency, and as proactive preventative behavior, participants should help self-manage things to create a safe space for one another.
We ask participants to follow the same guidelines as defined by Burning Man:
https://burningman.org/event/preparation/playa-living/taking-photos-shooting-video/
When in doubt, ask for consent!
